Family Fun Day 2011

The Adam Crouch Foundation held its second Family Fun Day on October 15, in conjunction with the Springwood Cricket Club's first grade match at Lomatia Park, Springwood.

The day was a huge success, enjoyed by all who attended. Fantastic entertainment was provided by The Winmalee Dance Academy, The Wolves Elite Taekwondo demonstration team, The NSW Haidong Gumdo demonstration team and The Mad Hatter Magician who all showed great skill and talent.

The day concluded with the finish of a gruelling Dubbo to Springwood Run. Our super athletes Peter Tracey, Michael Wholohan, Steve Muller, Shane Simpson, Grant McFadden, Ash Major, John Macintosh and David Watson helped to promote awareness of pool safety and drowning prevention through the townships they ran through and raised money through the generosity of the following supporters:

These 2 events raised an incredible $10,000 which is enabling the Foundation to provide swimming lessons for disadvantaged families, with the help of St Vincent de Paul, and to continue our ongoing efforts in the education and awareness of saving precious lives from drowning.
