Dubbo to Springwood Runners Survive Freezing Conditions
This year’s Dubbo-Springwood Run brought with it some additional challenges...running through icy cold conditions in October! Roads were closed from Bullaburra to Mount Victoria due to SNOW, but this wasn’t going to stop our boys who eventually made it to the top of Victoria Pass (after some ice digging and very creative driving) where they took a well deserved break at the Imperial Hotel at Mount Victoria.
After lunch at Bakehouse on Wentworth at Blackheath, the runners decided they would push on and finish the run the best they could, and after battling very unseasonal weather conditions and experiencing more up and downs than a roller coaster, our 12 dedicated runners reached their destination, The Royal Hotel Springwood, a little after 6pm.
Surrounded by family, friends and supporters, the runners all enjoyed a well earned shower, food and beverages, with celebrations lasting well into the night.
On behalf of Pete & Carmel Crouch and The Adam Crouch Foundation Board, we would like to express our sincerest gratitude to Peter Tracey, David Watson, Michael Wholohan, Shane Simpson, Dean Simpson, Andy Lee, Andrew Pesle, James Kohler, James Meade, Grant McFadden and Jayden Potts for their dedication and commitment to helping spread our message "Save Precious Lives from Drowning".
A HUGE thank you to all who sponsored and supported our runners on their journey. The boys raised over $10,000 through the generosity of the following supporters:

- Dunn & Farrugia
- Statewide Forklifts
- FM Insulation
